What is a Mourning Dove?

Nests are usually found on the branches of evergreens, mesquites, cottonwoods, vines, orchard trees. In the West, they nest on the ground quite often. Mourning Doves are not bothered by humans nesting near them. They may nest in gutters, eaves or other abandoned equipment.
