Turn-based and real-time combat are brilliantly combined in a new Steam roguelike.

Turn-based and Future rogue like Enter the Chromosphere is a fantastic blend of sci-fi, twin-stick shooting, and turn-based and real-time fighting.

Every now and again a roguelike shows up out of nowhere, and I get rapidly fixated on it. My latest obsession can be attributed to the Future Games Show, when a new trailer for Enter the Chromosphere, a turn-based, real-time cosmic horror game where players take on the role of a twin-stick shooting space bear, was unveiled.

Turn-based and real-time combat are brilliantly combined in a new Steam roguelike.

Turn-based and You’ll appreciate Enter the Chronosphere, a roguelike game, if you enjoy Hades or Enter the Gungeon. It first caught my attention due to its vivid and striking visual style, but what truly drew me in was the Steam description.

A hallucinogenic roguelike that muddles the distinction between turn-based strategy and live action. Take on the role of misfit aliens, create incredible combos out of hundreds of different weapons, gear, and skills, and take down the mysterious chromospheres—massive time-consuming structures that warp reality.

Now, I’m at a loss for words if that isn’t among the most amazing game pitches you have ever read.

Turn-based and Each Chronosphere will have a wide variety of biomes, weapons, items, and other elements that you can mix and match in your builds because they are home to an endless number of variations. Knives possessed by cowboys? We possess it. Are alien fish using parasites as weapons? That is also ours.

Turn-based and Developer Effort Star gets creative when they set the roguelike on chromosphere’s, blending reality, physics, and everything in between into a vibrant mess of interplanetary vomit. If the topic of Enter the Gungeon is guns, that of Hades 2 is Greek myth, and that of The Binding of Isaac is religion, then the theme of Enter the Chronosphere is crazy space adventures.

Enter. There isn’t a release date yet for The Chronophere, but you may wishlist the game right here on Steam.
