The well-known H Mart market launches its first outlet in Utah.

The well-known  SALT LAKE CITY — After establishing more than 100 stores nationwide, Utah now boasts its own H Mart.

The well-known Korean American supermarket opened for business early on Friday morning at 1442 West 9000 South in West Jordan, the former location of K-Mart.

The well-known  As of Friday, the Utah store was not even included on the corporate website due to its recent opening. Though it didn’t look “official” online, the place was crowded with people looking for goods that weren’t often available in other markets.

Everything from Korean appetizers to a range of kimchi samples, to-go lunch options like beef short rib rice bowls, Korean fried chicken, and sushi are available at this first site in Utah. A wonderful assortment of fresh fruit is also available, including golden kiwi and yellow watermelon.

In case your cat wants some stylish sunglasses, the new store also features a meat and deli section, stationery, and pet supplies. And as if that wasn’t enough, there are other types of gadgets and rice cookers. Even some Hello Kitty toilet paper is available.

The well-known  Chrissy Ove son, a resident of West Valley City, said her family celebrated the inauguration of H Mart on a special day.

“I know there are H Marts located in other cities and not Utah, so coming here and seeing how big this store is, my family and I are ecstatic,” Ove son stated. “It gives the Asian community more opportunity to see different products that we offer and even other cultures to be able to come here and shop and see what other cultures offer.”

In 1982, H Mart was founded in Queens and has expanded to become the biggest Asian grocery company in the United States. Along with a vast assortment of Western foodstuffs, stores also carry a large selection of Asian delicacies.

The well-known  One of the store’s cutting-edge food halls is scheduled to debut in West Jordan within the next few months. The site will be open from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week.

The H in H Mart, according to Columbia University, refers for ham ah rheum, which means “one arm full of groceries” in Korean.
