Jim Schlossnagle outlines aspirations for the Texas A&M baseball stadium in the future.

Jim Schlossnagle  Jim Schlossnagle, the coach of Texas A&M, is very optimistic about Blue Bell Park’s future. The university has proposed a $80 million remodeling proposal for the Aggies baseball facility.

Jim Schlossnagle  Schlossnagle stated, “We obviously have at the moment and we’re planning on staying in this footprint.” We can go higher, but there are physical restrictions on how far we can go. In addition, the sun is an issue out in right field. Thus, I mean, I was looking for a total of 12 to 15,000.

“Because I believe that this school and the 12th man deserve it, although there will probably be a lot of standing room, closer to 10 or so. Many of you are aware that virtually anywhere you can walk in a 360-degree concourse is equivalent to a drink rail, if you understand what I mean. Approximately 10,000 seats could be sold, leaving another 1,500–2,000 standing room only seats available for anyone who can merely find a position.

Jim Schlossnagle  Schlossnagle went so far as to suggest possible locations for the greatest seats in the house during the renovations.

It would be awesome to have left field. According to Schlossnagle, all of your best tickets would be at third base and down the left field line. “Left field since you can avoid staring directly at the sun.” I assume that by “best seats,” I mean expensive seats. And perhaps your chance to advance to the outfield. The renderings that we have thus far seen—holy cow, if we can pull that off. It’s going to be fantastic, and I can’t wait for everyone to see it.

Jim Schlossnagle  Schlossnagle is pleased with Texas A&M’s stadium plans, yes. Still, the school requires feedback from the supporters.

Jim Schlossnagle  Schlossnagle stated, “People need to respond to our seat study honestly, as it really comes down to your financial situation.” “Hopefully we can reach or surpass that $80 million figure when the study’s findings are released. If it’s not, you have to figure out what to do by going back to the drawing board, just like with anything else.
