Elvis Presley’s heir disputes the sale of Graceland, which is scheduled for foreclosure auction.

Elvis Presley’s heir  Tennessee’s Memphis According to a court notification, Elvis Presley’s historic mansion Graceland is scheduled to be sold at a foreclosure sale this Thursday. However, Presley’s granddaughter is suing to prevent the sale, claiming the allegations are false.

An attorney for Riley Keough, the heir, claims that a temporary restraining order on the sale was approved on Monday. There will be an injunction hearing on Wednesday.

Elvis Presley’s heir  Graceland and the surrounding land on Elvis Presley Boulevard are scheduled to be auctioned off for cash to the highest bidder on the steps of the Shelby County Courthouse on May 23rd, according to a notice released this month.

According to the legal notice, Graceland was used as collateral when Lisa Marie Presley allegedly signed a Deed of Trust in 2018 to get a $3.8 million loan from Maussan Investments and Private Lending, a Missouri corporation. The business asserts that prior to her passing away last year, she never made such payments.

Elvis Presley’s heir  However, Danielle Riley Keough, the daughter of Elvis Presley, claims in a 60-page lawsuit filed on May 15 in Shelby County Chancery Court against Nissan Investments that her mother never took out a loan from the business.

“These are fake documents,” the lawsuit claims.

Keough asserts that Naussany Investments is a fictitious company and that Presley’s signatures on the deed are forgeries. The notary public named in the deed disputes in the lawsuit that she ever met Lisa Marie Presley or notarized her signature.

WREG has contacted Graceland representatives to request a statement. There was a number for Naussany that was not working.

In 1957, Elvis Presley purchased the Graceland estate in Memphis’ Whitehaven neighborhoods. Following her father’s passing in 1977, Lisa Marie acquired Graceland, which became a museum in 1982.

January 2023 saw Lisa Marie Presley pass away. Her daughter succeeded her as the estate’s heir and Promenade Trust trustee.
