Launching Google Maps is unsuccessful, although the rest of the Android Auto experience functions fine. Waze and other mapping apps are still functional and offer an option. Furthermore, the phone version of the Google Maps app is operational.

Android Auto’s Version 11.132.0100 of Google Maps for Android, which was released on June 3, appears to be the problem. This issue affects Samsung, Pixel, and other phone models. It is likely that Google will make a patch available soon.

Over the past day, there have been some reports of stable users experiencing problems as well, but primarily from beta testers.

Android Auto’s Via the Play Store, you can exit the Google Maps beta. After that, select Uninstall updates from the App Info > Overflow Menu. Go back to Google Play and get the most recent stable version.
